Overview

This page contains details on the many Debuffs that affect Zombies and are not player-related. For a list of buffs and debuffs that affect your character then please see List of buffs. Damage dealt by debuffs ignores armor.

Bleeding

Deep Cuts

1 damage per stack per second for 20 seconds, 3-7 stacks maximum depending on rank. 10/15/20% movement slow depending on rank. All stacks refreshed on application.

Other

1 damage per second for 20 seconds, does not stack.

Burning

Torch, Burning Shaft Mod

1.5 damage per second for 10 seconds.

Flaming arrow/bolt

Lasts 14 seconds, damage over time scales based on game difficulty setting.

Scavenger: Damage starts at 8 and ticks up to 30 over the duration.
Adventurer: Damage starts at 6 and ticks up to 22.5 over the duration.
Nomad: Damage starts at 4 and ticks up to 15 over the duration.
Warrior: Damage starts at 3.32 and ticks up to 12.5 over the duration.
Survivalist: Damage starts at 2.64 and ticks up to 9.9 over the duration.
Insane: Damage starts at 2 and ticks up to 7.5 over the duration.

Molotov

Lasts 16 seconds, damage over time scales based on game difficulty setting.

Scavenger: Damage starts at 10 and ticks up to 56 over the duration.
Adventurer: Damage starts at 7.5 and ticks up to 42 over the duration.
Nomad: Damage starts at 5 and ticks up to 28 over the duration.
Warrior: Damage starts at 4.2 and ticks up to 23.2 over the duration.
Survivalist: Damage starts at 3.3 and ticks up to 18.5 over the duration.
Insane: Damage starts at 2.5 and ticks up to 14 over the duration.

Crippled

Slows movement by 30% for 5 minutes.

Metal Spikes

Lowers enemy armor rating by 20% per stack for 20s. All stacks refreshed on application, no stack limit. Enemy armor can go into negatives.

Rad remover

Disables regeneration ability of irradiated zombies for 90 seconds. Irradiated zombies regenerate 2.5-9hp every 2.5s depending on type, up to 80% of max health.

Shocked

Electric fence

6 damage per second for 4 seconds. Initially slows by 90%, scaling down to 5% before expiring.

Stun Baton

6 damage per second for 4-8 seconds depending on Electrocutioner rank. Initially slows by 90%, scaling down to 5% before expiring.

Slowed

Batter Up! vol 3

Slows movement by 25% falling to 5% over a 6s duration.

Stunned

Slows movement/attack speed by 80%/50%, falling to 20%/0% over the duration.
Duration depends on source.

4 seconds: Brawler rank 2, Weighted Head Mod.
6 seconds: Boomstick rank 1, Sniper vol 3.
8 seconds: Boomstick rank 3.
