The Navezgane General Hospital is an incredibly large building that can be found in Navezgane and Random Generated Worlds. The building is 4-5 stories tall in most sections, and contains many rooms. The sign outside the Navezgane General Hospital reads 'Pop-N-Pills Just What the Doctor Ordered!'

Since alpha 19, this hospital has undergone significant overhaul; while the building shape is preserved, the Hospital is much more realistic, albeit more of a 'microcosm' of a real hospital. The new version contains an ICU wing, an office, cafeteria, morgue, emergency room, a general ward, a psych ward/mental health hospitals, surgery room, and a gift shop. There is also a helicopter landing pad for emergency transport. The tier 5 loot is in the administrator's office, which can be accessed through the collapsed roof.

It is extremely rare at random generated worlds.

Location in Navezgane

Trivia

  • It is estimated this hospital has around 33 beds, 20 for general patients, 8 for ICU patients, 5 for mental health patients, Given that Navezgame is a rural/remote county, it would make sense that the main hospital would be generally small.
  • There are several bizarre design choices from an architecture/floor plan standpoint. The morgue is right next to the cafeteria and laundry, which is not ideal given both smells and chemical contamination. The ICU is right behind general reception. There is only one surgical bay, and there is no recovery room specific for surgery.
  • Certain key features are missing from this hospital that real life ones would have: A trauma room near the ER, an on-call room, and a chapel.
  • A screamer is scripted to spawn in the psych ward, in the high risk observation room. This implies the Screamer was likely psychological patient in severe mental distress, explaining her sensitivity to certain stimuli.
