Trader Joel is one of five current NPC Traders in 7 Days to Die.

About

Located in the forest biome in the base Navezgane map, Joel is the trader that specializes in clothing and armor. Joel's trading post is one of five possible options for the White River Citizen quest, wherein the player must travel to the nearest Trader Joel's location. It is possible for him to spawn in random world generation maps, but not guaranteed.

Like the other trader's posts, Joel's cannot be used as a base, as the player cannot place or destroy any blocks and is constantly thrown out during night.

Speculation

• Joel may be the namesake for the Trader Joel's locations, but we have no concrete proof other than the name itself.

Trivia

• Trader Joel's name and appearance are based on that of The Fun Pimps co-founder Joel Huenink.
