Description

If a character's Feels like temperature falls to 40°F (15.6°C), the Freezing buff will be applied. A red snowflake icon will appear in the HUD and the edges of the screen will gradually take on a frosted look. This buff causes greatly increased food consumption when recovering stamina. The effects of this buff can be mitigated or completely counteracted by the Well Insulated perk.

Effects

While this buff is active the character will have Fullness decrease 60% faster over time, plus a further drain of 2 Fullness per Stamina point recovered.

This buff cannot directly kill a character. However if Fullness is decreased below 2% the player will be Starving and will begin taking damage over time.
