Items can be found stored in various objects. These objects can be generated by the world itself or crafted by the Player.

The 'standard' storage boxes crafted by the Player contain 48, 64 or 80 item slots for the Wood, Iron and Steel version respectively.
Most others forms of craftable Storage have only 12 item slots, however there are some exceptions (in ascending order):

• The Coffee Maker and Toilets have 6 item slots
• Most Cabinets and Cupboards shapes have 18 item slots (except for the Bookcase, which has 12)
• The full and double block-sized Appliances have 24 item slots (except for the Stoves, which have 12)
• Wine Barrels have 48 item slots
• The Desk- and Wall Safes have 64 item slots
• The Gun Safe and Steel Wall Cabinet have 80 item slots

Destroying a storage container will leave it's content as a loot bag on the ground.

It is also possible to store items in your Crafting Window.
