Missing items.

For some reason not all items are appearing in this list, e.g. Anvil should be here but does not seem to be. — Tilleen ^(talk) 08:28, 14 November 2016 (UTC)

I took a quick look and I don't see any reason for Anvil *not* to be listed here. I wonder if the broad scope and large size of the generated DPL table and the fact that there are multiple broad, large DPL tables on one page is causing problems.

Nothing links to this page. How is it used? Primarily internally, by editors? Maybe it's better to break it down into separate pages per DPL and narrow the focus per DPL, such as one DPL for all confirmed Alpha 15.1 items, etc.

For future reference for anyone writing DPL tables, it's best-practice to include |allowcachedresults=true once the DPL is ready for production. Without this, the DPL engine searches all pages with each article view. While that ensures very up-to-date info, it also takes a toll on the server and can lag individual page-load time.

Yes the main reason I created this page was to allow for the display of items that had not been updated as yet. Others then requested it be split, removed deleted, ...

The only reason I could come up with for the lack of the Anvil was the same as yours. But I think I tried with the other, dpls turned off, and it did not change anything.

The main reason I didn't bother with the |allowcachedresults=true is because the doco at: https://help.gamepedia.com/DPL:Parameters:_Other_Parameters#allowcachedresults says that it is on by default.
