Description

Dysentery is a debuff that has a chance of being inflicted on the player when consuming Murky Water, Old Sham Sandwiches, Raw Meat, or Rotting Flesh.

Dysentery reduces Fullness by 0.5 and Hydration by 1.5 every 2 mins 42 sec to 5 mins 6 sec. This can lead to starvation and dehydration, both of which can kill the player if things get bad enough.

This debuff lasts a total of 1 hour, decreasing by approximately 1.7% per minute. It can be cured by drinking Goldenrod Tea or Pure Mineral Water, which convert it to Treated Dysentery, reducing Dysentery by 3.3% per minute for a total of 20%. 5 drinks are needed to fully cure it from 100%. Curing increases the time between Fullness and Hydration loss and removes Dysentery in half the time (30 mins at most) compared to leaving it untreated.

The buff from Vitamins will prevent new cases of Dysentery while in effect, but will not cure any player currently afflicted with Dysentery.
