Description

Raw Meat is an edible food item obtained by hunting and harvesting Animals. Eating Raw Meat will have a positive effect on Fullness but may also cause the player to get sick with Dysentery. It can be cooked for greater benefit using a Campfire and either a Cooking Grill or Cooking Pot to make various recipes. If neither of these cooking tools are available, one can cook the meat on the Campfire to created Charred Meat.

Having 5 or more Raw Meat in the inventory causes Smell (Grace), which becomes Smell after 10 seconds. The smell radius starts at 10 meters and increases by 2 for every 1 additional Raw Meat carried, up to 100 meters. Removing Raw Meat from the inventory or packaging it into a Raw Meat Bundle causes the smell to fade away over time.

Usage

History

  • Alpha 16: Raw Meat no longer attracts zombies through the Emitting Smell debuff.
  • Version 2.5: Raw Meat now emits smell again. Unlike the former implementation, Raw Meat is the only item that smells in the inventory.
