Meat Comparison

The three types of meats you can craft at a campfire are Grilled Meat, Boiled Meat, and Charred Meat, with each having its own upsides and downsides.

  • Grilled Meat doesn't dehydrate you like charred Meat, but it also doesn't hydrate like Boiled Meat
  • All you need to make grilled meat is meat and a grill, as opposed to the boiled meat requiring water to make, meaning it'll be more efficient in the early game when water supplies are more strained.
  • Overall, it's generally a matter of materials available, but Bacon and Eggs is a better use of your meat.
