Description

Bedrock is the Block type that makes up the lowest layer of Blocks in the game world.

Properties

• Indestructible: Bedrock cannot be mined, damaged, or destroyed by any means, ensuring it remains a permanent feature in the game world. Attempting to damage it will cause an ominous sound.
• Vertical Support: Any Block placed on Bedrock is automatically considered vertically supported, important in determining Structural Integrity.

Location

• Bedrock forms the bottommost layer of the game world, marking the boundary beyond which players cannot dig.
• Standing on the bedrock layer will place you at +3 meters of elevation, well below the usual ground level terrain elevation of around +60 meters.
