Description
As of A13 (maybe sooner) there is only one torch.
A Coal Torch is a an multi-purpose item used to light dark areas and can also be used as a melee weapon. It can be crafted using the correct items, and is very simple to craft. A Coal Torch is cheap on resources and does not require any special or expensive resources to craft. While it is not possible to melt, scrap or dismantle a Coal Torch it can be used as a source of Combustible fuel.
Uses
As a Light
A Coal Torch is used to provide light in dark areas and can be placed on almost any surface and will illuminate a small area around it. You can move a torch from one location to another at any time by picking it up using the E key. A Coal Torch does not need any type of fuel and will burn indefinitely until either destroyed or extinguished by water.
As a Weapon
A Coal Torch is a very basic short range weapon and can kill an average Zombie with nine direct hits to the head or 17 hits or more to the body. It is more effective against a single Zombie and will not be very effective when dealing with even a small group of Zombies at close quarters. It can be used more effectively against a single Zombie when combined with the stealth of crouching to launch a sneak attack.

Notes
- A Coal Torch now actually generates light when in your hand, it no longer simply has a dynamic lighting effect, in other words if you use it in a completely dark room it will actually create light now. This goes for a Household Flashlight and a Torch as well.
- A Coal Torch can't be placed on a vertical side of a block that has a Structural Integrity of 0, like Sand or Gravel.
- Sometimes when placing a Coal Torch it doesn't burn, but still generates light.
- Sometimes when placed, a Coal Torch doesn't show visible light.
- When picked up a Coal Torch turns into a regular torch.
