Description

A Lead Ingot is the result of casting lead in a Forge using a Lead Ingot Mold. There are a few items that provide a source of lead and can either be scrapped to produce Lead or melted directly in a Forge. Any combination of Lead or suitable items can be used to cast a Lead Ingot provided enough lead is produced. Each Lead Ingot weighs 3.0 lb and will require the same amount to be used during casting. A Lead Ingot can also be used to craft other items.

Forge

Preparation

A Lead Ingot is cast in a Forge it will need to be prepared before being used and you will require these items.

1x Lead Ingot Mold

Place this into the Mold slot of the Forge.

6x Stick

These will burn for 24 seconds, but any fuel source that will burn for 24 seconds or more will be suitable

Required Metal

To cast a Lead Ingot you will require the following metal.

3x Lead

These will provide 3.0 lb of lead, but any source that will provide 3.0 lb of lead or more will be suitable. Place this into the Metal slot of the Forge.

Casting

Place the source of lead into the metal slot of the Forge and add your fuel source to one of the three Fuel slots, this will begin the casting process. A minimum of 3.0 lb of lead is required and will produce one Lead Ingot.

Scrapping

A Lead Ingot can be scrapped by placing it into any slot of the crafting grid except for the centre slot. Each Lead Ingot you scrap will give you three Lead.

• Any of these items can be placed into a Forge and used to cast a Lead Ingot.

Notes

• As of Alpha 8.2 it is possible to cast a Lead Ingot using a Lead Ingot, obviously this is pointless as in doing so you would waste both fuel and time to end up with the same thing as you started with.
