Description
A Steel Hatch (Powered) is a craftable hatch which only closes when powered by Electricity. This Hatch has to be crafted separately and cannot be upgraded from a Steel Hatch. It is crafted using Forged Steel, Springs, Mechanical Parts, and Electrical Parts. The Steel Hatch (Powered) cannot be upgraded further.
Usage
The Steel Hatch (Powered) has no 'E' key options seen on other Hatches, thus must be powered with Electricity to be opened and closed. The easiest setup is to run a wire from your power source, through a Switch, to the Hatch. The default 'off' position leaves the Hatch closed, while flipping the Switch 'on' will open the Hatch.

A higher level in the associated perk will decrease the crafting cost, saving resources.
Repairing
You can repair a Steel Hatch (Powered) with up to 36 Forged Steel, depending on damage level, with any repair tool.
Notes
- It is useful for making a door to block the top of a ladder (as shown below).
- Can be used to make a window that opens and shuts when needed.
- It is also useful to cover the water source inside your base (usually a hole filled with water).
- The Steel Hatch (Powered) shares the same stats and visuals as the Steel Hatch, making the only discernible difference between them the fact that this hatch can (and must) be operated with the use of Electricity.
