Description

The Auger Blade is used to craft an Auger. It can be found in the Hardware Store and/or in vehicles. If you recycle it you will get 12 Iron. It is ill-advised to scrap however unless survivors have already got an Auger, or a blade of higher quality.

Usage

There are no crafting recipes that require the specified ingredient: Auger Blade.

Recrafting

The Auger Blade can be improved and repaired at a Workbench using crafting, after reading the Auger Schematic.

WARNING: If your level isn't high enough you will make the Auger Blade worse -- It is not based on Science skill (like the recipe description suggests) it seems to be based on the Weapon Smithing skill.

[consider yourself warned, I reduced a 414 Auger Blade to 200 because of current game description]

• Added in Alpha 11.
• very good way to get resources if made into an auger as they mine very fast, but do not have a very long durability, about 100 hits. does not do much damage to zombies
