Description

Boiled Pork is a Food item that can be cooked using a Cooking Pot on a Campfire with a suitable source of Combustible fuel. Eating Boiled Pork will have a positive effect on the player's Fullness and Health.

It is not recommended to be used as a staple food source for players who do not have a good supply of Bottled Water, as the Boiled Pork requires water to cook. Also, the bottle itself (Glass Jar) is lost in the process. However, the weaker smell range and strength make it better for a food source when travelling and when water is not a problem.

Preparation

Boiled Pork is cooked using a Cooking Pot on a Campfire, it will need to be prepared before being used and the player will require the following items.

Notes

  • Unlike Boiled Rabbit and Boiled Venison, Boiled Pork has no effect on the player's Hydration.
  • The positive effects of Boiled Pork on the player's Fullness and Health are the same as Charred Pork and Grilled Pork, the only difference is the level of smell given off.
  • Per the above effects, the alternative methods of cooking Pork means one uses no water and yet still gains the Fullness and Health perks instead. In those alternative methods, the water that isn't used can more than counter the Hydration that is lost.
