Description

Pipe Pistols were added to the game in Alpha 20 Experimental. They are intended to be an early-game weapon, much like their precursor the Blunderbuss.

Combat

The Pipe Pistol provides good close-medium range damage in the early game, as a lvl 1 version with a full magazine is capable of killing multiple zombies or even a zombie dog at Nomad difficulty provided the player hits the majority of their shots. The gun does have a fairly long reload time which players should keep in mind as this may pose problems in close-quarters combat or against runners if the player cannot dispatch the enemy before reloading.

Repair

Pipe Pistols lose condition with use, eventually degrading to the point that it can no longer function. It must be repaired using a Short Iron Pipe.
